da marjack bet: Liverpool’s new signing Nuri Sahin has given his reaction to scoring his first goals for his new club, which led to a 2-1 victory over West Brom in the Capital One Cup at the Hawthorns last night.
da casino: The Turkish international – signed on a season long loan from Real Madrid – inspired the comeback for Brendan Rodgers young side, equalising with a long range effort that squirmed under Ben Foster in the first half, before finishing off an excellent move to provide the winner eight minutes from time.
“We played with a young side and they showed a lot of character, especially to come back from 1-0 down and they did very well,” Sahin told the club’s official website.
“It was a good night for the club and I was happy to see the young players get their chance and show what they can do. I was impressed with Jack Robinson who did well at left-back but to be fair they all did very well.”
Sahin is likely to get only his second Premier League start since joining the club, as Liverpool travel to Norwich this weekend.
Sahin is likely to replace the suspended Jonjo Shelvey, as Brendan Rodgers continues the search for his first Premier League victory
