da betsul: Tottenham Hotspur have started the 2018/19 Premier League season brightly, picking up nine points from their opening four fixtures, and while Mauricio Pochettino’s side have found the net on nine occasions, the addition of a new wide man could help Spurs progress in the latter stages of the season, and in the future.
What’s the issue?
da esoccer bet: With Tottenham talisman Harry Kane in prolific form, calls for the addition of an out and out striker from the Spurs faithful may fall on deaf ears come the January transfer window.
To the dismay of Tottenham Hotspur and football fans alike, Spurs became the first side in Premier League history to not make a signing in the summer transfer window.

With speculation that a number of high profile players could still depart the club in the New Year, reinforcements must come in January.
Upon the return to Premier League action following the international break, Mauricio Pochettino will have the likes of Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura at his disposal. But, with both forwards favouring central roles in recent times, perhaps the acquisition of a new wide man could tempt the Argentinian head coach in January.
Why Ademola Lookman?
Lookman, who was linked with a move away from Goodison Park throughout the summer transfer window, could be the perfect fit for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Having spent the second half of last season on loan at RB Leipzig, scoring the winning goal on his debut for the Bundesliga side after coming on as a late substitute, the 20-year-old displayed his potential at a high level, demonstrating his pace, technique and eye for goal throughout his loan spell, which saw him rack up five goals in 11 appearances.
Having sent wide man Yannick Bolasie on loan to Championship side Aston Villa, as well as reportedly rejecting multiple bids for Lookman this summer, it seemed that the youngster may finally get a significant spell in the first team.
But, with winger Theo Walcott looking strong and Brazilian wonderkid Richarlison netting three times since his move from Watford, Ademola Lookman may struggle to get game time this season.
Pochettino, who already has a healthy track record managing young English talent, should be pushing to sign the England Under-21 international in January to help Tottenham progress through this season, and in the future.
