The international break will allow some Everton players to rest and recoup, but for others it could provide a launching pad for their season.
One such player for the Toffees who could really benefit is Moise Kean, who has got off to a mixed start to life at Goodison Park.
He arrived in the summer for a significant fee, particularly for a player so young, as well as a growing reputation of a striker who had performed well when called upon for a top side in Italy.
As a result, his failure to score so far could be due to feeling a little pressure to perform, but his lack of starts has also limited his opportunities to find the back of the net.
Despite that, he has proved useful to Everton and his impact from the bench, especially against Watford when he had two shots in 19 minutes and the assist against Wolves last weekend, shows he could still be effective this year.

Although the 19-year-old has two goals in three games for the Italy senior side, on this occasion he has been called up to the U21s for the game against Luxembourg U21s, and that fixture could allow him to rediscover some form.
His opponents are hardly the most prestigious side, and have lost four of their last five games, conceding 11 goals in the process. A player of Kean’s quality should be able to take full advantage, then.
If he can get on the scoresheet it will likely provide him with big confidence boost, which could spur him on when he returns to Merseyside, and that is exactly what he and Marco Silva will hope for.
Once he gets off the mark for Everton we could see a huge weight lift off his shoulders, and a more clinical and composed Kean could emerge – his three shots so far have all been off target.
A good performance against Luxembourg could enable him to do that, and if he scores in this break he could look back on it as a turning point in his season.
